Our Church Projects
From solar energy at our headquarters to new church buildings across the islands — every project is a step of faith toward a stronger, more sustainable ministry in Cabo Verde.
Priority Initiative
This project has a defined funding target. Your gift today brings it directly closer to completion.
Power the Church.
Free the Budget.
The RCCG Cabo Verde headquarters in Praia currently carries a significant monthly electricity utility bill. Installing a solar energy system will dramatically reduce this recurring cost — freeing up funds that can be redirected into ministry, outreach, and support for our other church projects across the islands.
This is a one-time investment with lasting returns. A fully funded solar installation means a healthier, more financially sustainable headquarters for decades to come.
Building Across the Islands
Each project below represents a church family working in faith to complete what God has started. Your partnership makes the difference.
Church Building
Completion
The RCCG parish on Sal Island has an ongoing church building that needs to be completed. With the island's growing congregation and its strategic position as a hub for visitors and locals alike, completing this building will give the church a permanent, dignified home from which to serve the community.
Residential Building
Completion
Alongside the church building on Sal, there is a residential building that also needs to be completed. This will provide accommodation for the pastor and church workers — enabling full-time, on-the-ground ministry and ensuring the parish is served by a dedicated resident shepherd.
Church Building
Completion
The congregation on Boa Vista Island is faithfully growing and needs a completed church building to fully establish their witness on the island. Boa Vista is an increasingly important location for the Gospel, with a diverse population of residents and workers who need a solid church community they can call home.
New Parish Plant
— Santiago Village
We have a building in a village on Santiago Island. Once completed, this building will become the home of a brand new RCCG parish — bringing the Gospel directly to a community that currently has no church presence. This is church planting in its most tangible form: a building that becomes a beacon.
"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain."Psalm 127:1
